Mission

The mission of this site is to provide current information for all New Jersey Sleep Technologists.

Profile

We are the New Jersey Association of Sleep Technologists (NJAST) the professional organization for sleep technologists, technicians and trainees in New Jersey.  

NJAST was formed to organize the New Jersey sleep community.  We have obtained independent licensing  for New Jersey Sleep Technologists.  The Polysomnography Practice Act has been signed into law in New Jersey as P.L.2005, c.244.   As a result, we have avoided enforcement of the cease and desist order issued to New Jersey sleep technologists in April of 2003 which otherwise would have been enforced as of April 30, 2006.
